Dear Meg,
Very well then. Would you please make sure that this email -- and all previous emails between you and I -- are
included in the FCC required public inspection file at the station? In the off-chance that someone comes by for
an inspection?
Thanks,
Scott M. Peterson

Dear Scott,
You are welcome to come to our next board meeting and submit your issues during public comment (and a hand-out if you wish). If a board member thinks it is worth while they can bring it to the attention of the full board, otherwise we don't see problems in the issues you raise.
And the "we" you mention is the "royal we".

Thanks for your reply.
When you say that "We" have studied my email, I assume that was done in a meeting, which wasn't announced.
Otherwise, I'd have to conclude that the board hasn't studied it at all. Do you have a written waiver to act on
behalf of the MCPB board of directors in such matters? If so please be kind enough to provide the public with a
copy at the next MCPB board meeting. If not, please put my request on your next board meeting agenda.
Sincerely,
Scott M. Peterson

Hello Scott,
We have studied your email about this so-called "compliance review" and frankly do not understand what you are looking for. For instance in section A we have NOT closed any meetings. In Section B through D it is not clear specifically what you are looking for? Also our 990s have always been available to the public. Financial statements, policies, yearly audits have also been available as well.
Perhaps you should look a bit harder to find these facts.
Thank you,

This is a request for a compliance review of Mendocino County Public Broadcasting at the next board of
directors meeting. I'd like to ask for this review to address the following subject matter:
A. Open Meetings, including meetings of Mendocino County Public Broadcasting's Board of Directors, its
community advisory board, and its committees, documenting the reasons for closing those meetings, and
making that documentation available to the public (47 U.S.C. § 396(k)(4));
B. Open Financial Records (47 U.S.C. § 396(k)(5));
C. Community Advisory Board (47 U.S.C. § 396(k)(8));
D. Employment Statistical Report (47 U.S.C. § 396(k)(11)); and
E. Donor Information (47 U.S.C. § 396(k)(12));
The review would also need to address policies stated on Mendocino County Public Broadcasting Form 990s for
the past five years including the following:
A. That 'No review (of MCPB's Form 990) was or will be conducted';
B. That 'No (governing documents, conflict of interest policies and financial statements are) available to the
public'; and
C. That MCPB's financial statements weren't audited by an independent accountant.
In addition, I'd like to hear an explanation for these policies.
Sincerely,
Scott M. PetersonMendocino
