[Kzyxtalk] "Uninsurable Risk"

Dear Mr./Ms. SM,

Interesting. Was your jury summons addressed to Mr./Ms. SM? Did you testify with a hood

over your head? I'm no 'legal eagle' either. But I know better than to put words in someone

else's mouth. Did I use the word 'compensation'? If so, where?

As far as Mr. Sakowicz goes. I've never met the man. But at least he's got the stones to use

his own name here. And the legal expenses were incurred long after the underlying conduct.

That's cause-and-effect, Mr./Ms. SM.

And as far as King Collins goes. I've never met him either. So my 'nescient little group' might

just be in your head. And why not use plain English? Nescient means ignorant. Or stupid. Why

not say that? It cuts to the chase.

Furthermore, my name wasn't on that complaint.

I admire you Mr./Ms. SM. You waltz into this listserv unidentified. And you persuade someone

like Tim Gregory to wash your feet here. There could be long standing consequences for Mr.

Gregory -- who identifies himself. If the rabble you despise prevail in this matter, Mr. Gregory

will undoubtedly be labeled a scab. A persona non grata. Someone not exactly at the peak of

their career. Nonetheless, he uses his own name. Unlike you, Mr./Ms. SM.

You're a spineless nobody.

Sincerely,

Scott M. Peterson

Mendocino

I am no legal eagle but I have served on civil juries and been a witness
in civil trials. You have to prove a monetary loss before you can sue
somebody for compensation. If you are wondering what the legal expenses
were for, just ask your best bud John Sakowicz because he was on the
KZYX BOD when they were incurred. My guess is that they were
consultations to provide expert advice to make sure that the station was
in compliance with rules and regulations. So, if true, you, King, and
your nescient little group are responsible for the expenses. Because
there are no sweeping changes I think the station is probably in
compliance. Your track record for accuracy is pretty dismal. SM
