ah, norman, will you do as well with the charter commission as you have with this list?
i don't know if i'm more irked by cyber-bullies, or by their sexual fantasies...this
latest headcase seems primed for both...
having admin-ed a contentious site, i know it means work to keep haters in check--or
lose them if they can't throw a towel over it...
you seem to have attracted a critical mass of assholes to yourself so far, and not
much else...

what's not to love about KZYX's new fundraising experience? .. it's the 'Quiet
Drive':

yes, ladies and gentlemen .. your friendly KZYX managers don't have to grovel
anymore .. they don't
have to beg .. they don't even have to ask .. all they have to do is sit there ..
and run out the clock ..
remember .. these people work on salary .. so they've got nothing to lose ..
the 'Quiet Drive' goal is $75,000 .. and they've already raised it .. technically ..
remember the board
meeting at Point Noyo a few weeks ago? .. and the amount that one of those salaried
people was
asking to be approved as a line of credit? .. yeah .. it was $75,000:

the problem with normal pledge drives is this .. it takes programmers .. with actual
content .. and
followers with actual money .. even then, it ain't easy .. for folks to come to
Jesus, you need -- well
-- Jesus .. but here you've got fewer programmers .. and less content .. with a lot
more competition ..
nonprofits in Mendocino County are doubling every five years .. so get your game
face on KZYX ..
put on your shortest skirt .. your tightest blouse .. lipstick .. and kneepads ..
with your 'Quiet Drive' ..
if it doesn't work out, that's okay .. there's always bankruptcy .. but employee
wages aren't
dischargeable in bankruptcy, are they? .. so salaried management is okay .. but
who's holding the
bag on the $75,000 line of credit? .. good question .. the lender is Savings Bank of
Mendocino
County .. they loan NOTHING without collateral .. MCPB can't cover that .. so who
can? ..
in all likelihood, it's deep-pocket board members .. like the gullible people at
MCTV .. who had to
pay off MCTV's corporate debt out of their own pockets .. for being stupid ..
so let the champagne flow .. and the ganja burn .. for the next six months, it's
party time in Philo ..
