On the KZYX "Discussion Show" at 7p.m. on Thursday, John Coate hosted with Benj Thomas 

It was worth listening to all complaints on air about station signal. No doubt this will be the basis of more FCC and CPB complaints. What was laughable was hearing that Coate is still looking for functioning drone for line of sight survey, instead of pushing up a tall tower. 

Still looking for a functioning drone? That's his excuse? KZYX has had more than ten incidents of dead air or fuzz out since the beginning of this year alone. That's to say nothing of the webstream, which was down again for the umpteenth time on Saturday, May 1. 

Another thing. 

Perhaps 40 minutes after the "Discussion Show", and at least certainly before 10 PM, a canned comedy program used word "shitty". 

I guess that maybe technically the word "shitty" may not be an FCC violation, because the word is not 4 letters. But that would not have stopped Mary Aigner from banning any programmer she didn't like from the airwaves. Aigner, herself, aired at show with an expletive while filling in as host for "Women's Voices". 

No doubt, too, this double standard will be the basis of more FCC and CPB complaints, and maybe even a lawsuit.
