Good morning Mr. Thomas,
I appreciate your participation on the kzyx talk listserve.
If unfairness and bias are heard as "frequent complaints" to how the 
programs are being chosen I certainly hope that you will help rekindle 
the program committee which would help make choosing programs more 
democratic and less autocratic.
