Hello Stuart,
I respectfully disagree.  There is nothing in your communication that is
confidential.  I believe that it is helpful for MCPB/KZYX to engage with the
public, and that disseminating information about the election quickly is consistent
with that goal.  Conversely, the tendency to conceal information and discourage
communication has harmed the organization and caused much of the current turmoil. 
I cannot support that.

 Had I wanted to make a general public announcement about this, I would have. It's
premature to do so until all the candidates have confirmed with me that the date &
time will work for them. Please let me handle official election communications;
it's my job, not yours. I must ask you to immediately retract this from all the
places you sent it, since it is not yet official.
