[Kzyxtalk] Pledge Drive Follies

Isn’t it a Board Member
who is regularly trashing
the KZ in the AVA these days, Liz?
The Treasurer?
During Pledge Drive??

At least Marco was polite
in expressing his concern
and willingness to play nicely.

[Sorry, but I, too, have no ear
(no matter who he can get on the phone)
for
Mr. "I’m so Important
Because I have Come to Your Fair Land
to Save You From Yourselves,
You Aging, Unwashed, Portfolio-less Fools
and make the World Safe for NPR”
(or else) attitudes, and find myself
wishing they would go off and grab
themselves that nice, lucrative NPR
position that they so covet
in that far off
Reston, Virginia(?) Warehouse.]

But hey. I never could abide bullies.

Well, not Day, as I prefer music to Talking Heads
