[Kzyxtalk] One cold vibe...

Marco's MOTA is brilliant anywhere it is heard. I am his loyal longtime listener, first at KMFB & now live streaming or linked thru his site. I have advocated for MOTA or some version thereof on KZYX, also for other programming. Though to date my will has not been done, I persist, continuing to do shows & otherwise support KZYX while freely questioning & criticizing, as is my member/listener responsibility.
Marco's insistence on having his show on KZYX (or else!) bothers me. I question anyone's right to host a show. Was there a reason he was taken off air in the distant past?
Trashing KZYX staff & spreading hearsay about its finances during the fund drive reminds me of a childish shit-flinging tantrum. In our long history, I have not known Marco to be other than kind, so I am sorta aghast at his timing. It adds to previous ongoing vengeful, meanspirited, destructive screeds & actions by others.
The financial facts, numbers, etc can & should be checked out.
KZYX is bigger than all of us. Warts & all, it is us as long as we further its existence. Let a thousand community radio stations bloom!
To quote an Third World song: One cold vibe couldn't stop dis ya boogie!
Respectfully,
Liz
