[Kzyxtalk] To Brother Sakowicz

King,

You have my word, King. Two weeks. No reacting. No acting out in public.

Two weeks.

Keep in mind, however, I have already submitted an op-ed piece that may be in the hopper at the local newspapers. It's a piece about the new loyalty pledge that the MCPB Board of Directors may be expected to sign (or not), and also the changes to the Programmers Handbook regulating off-air behavior that programmers may be expected to sign (or not). Those proposals riled me.

The shameful dismissal of Norman De Vall as the moderator for the candidates debates also still has me riled. I seethe.

But I promise -- nothing new in public from me for two weeks, King. Two weeks. I'll seethe in silence.

And thanks, too, for your kind words about this morning's show. My guests rocked. Totally rocked. And the best part is that the three guests on the phone -- Amalia Deloney, Jessica Gonzales, and Todd O'Boyle -- all promised to act as a resource for Brandon Merritt of the Mendocino County CEO's Office. They''ll help out on our local broadband initiatives. Think of these three folks as high-priced consultants without the pricetag.

Have a great weekend.

Request of Brother Sakowicz,

Great show today on net neutrality. Could not agree more, and I don't think anyone on this list would disagree.

Here is my friendly, brotherly request. Will you, for a period of say two weeks, REFRAIN from saying anything INFLAMMATORY about management and board. LIke your recent open letters. They make it hard for the important stuff to come out. Did you ever think, before you shoot off your mouth in such a public way, that some of us would like to have a discussion first and maybe after that, make a public statement to the board or to the public, or to the newspapers, But Look Out, there's Shotgun Sakowicz shootin off another blast, confusing everyone with whatever he thinks just happened.

However, there is SOMETHING YOU COULD DO, while refraining from firing every inflammatory ordinance that pops into your fully loaded machine gun mind. Instead what your could do for all of us. Is to put down your weapon and SIMPLY REPORT in a straight forward way, as the guy we elected, what WE, your brothers and sisters, SHOULD KNOW, or might want to know.

Could you do that for US, your brothers and sisters?

Did you intent this test as a roll call, Norman, if so I'm here too.
