It would also be great to have WINGS back on our station.  So if you are writing or calling  KZYX  and feel so inclined, please put in a plug for WINGS.    WINGS,  Women's International News Gathering Service,  is an award-winning weekly half-hour radio program  half-hour program for noncommercial radio stations,  carried by 150 stations,  produced by and about women around the world. The programs cover a wide variety of issues including feminism, economics, politics, peace, war, anti-violence, human rights, sexual rights, technology, history/herstory, and sometimes humor.  It is a way to hear news about women in far away places, that we don't hear anyplace else.  And, it is free!
