Eric -- I am so totally pissed that even after John Coate and I had these
two heart-to-heart conversations about healing broken relationships at the
station, after which I was prepared to make some concessions, including
modifying or withdrawing my FCC complaint, and after which I also worked my
ass off to schedule an A-list guest for my Spring Pledge Drive show tomorrow
-- Katrina vanden Heuvel -- here comes Steffen kicking me to the curb, or
trying to, and here coming Aigner kicking Norman De Vall to the curb. I feel
played. And if John Coate had no role in Steffen's and Aigner behaviors,
then John Coate should feel played, too. His staff is undermining him.

Subject: Steffen vs. Bosk - how resolve?

How do we know for sure that KZYX Business Development staffer David
Steffen's email, suggesting that Beth Bosk's comments or reporting "have no
place in any discussion of KZYX or the individuals", was of his own making.

How do we know the David Steffen email was not instigated by a operational
policy, or shadow scripted, by General Manager John Coates and or Program
Director Mary Aigner.

Is there a pattern developing with the comment on Bosk. Did David Steffen,
or GM John Coates dba David Steffen, 'throw a curve ball' at John Sakowicz,
by intentionally making a deliberately false claim that station ID was not
announced on air.

Before making the station ID false claim, did Steffen, or Steffen/ Coates,
or Steffen/Aigner, or Steffen/Aigner/Coates, already have the information
that Sakowicz's actual transgression, was having read the underwriting at a
procedurally incorrect time.

Was the truth a substantial violation or simply a technical violation of
station policy because, of its one time occurrence and not a continuing
regular event. Is it true that there might not have been actual harm to
the underwriter supporter nor a complaint there from.

Was it evident that there may have been a valid reason for not reading
underwriter announcement at the time scheduled, so the program guest could
be on air, as the radio host declares.

Was the false claim of not reading station ID which would have been a
substantial violation of KZYX's broadcast FCC license, part of a
strategic 'sucker punch'.

Was this a '1, 2' attempt to destabilize the radio show host, by pausing
to first allow Sako to indignantly respond to the false claim 'bait', then
following up with the hair splitting true fact, of reading underwriting
copy at half hour instead of at top of the hour.

Perhaps only Steffen/Aigner/Coates knows for sure. The saga continues to
tilt with windmills and inquiring minds.
