While I don't feel like wasting time doing deep research on this, and since
the topics that usually come up on this list serve suggest the underlying
innuendo is "Fox and NPR are one", the reality is that Fox Television has
been spending a lot of advertising/marketing money promoting the new Cosmos
series airing on multiple Fox outlets. Their film division also underwrites.

NPR News is now announced as being "brought to you by Fox Broadcasting".  I
can't find anything on the internet to explain this.  Does anyone know how
Fox has come to be closely associated with NPR?
