Well I for one am glad to hear that this was somewhat of a civil
discourse. This is why we are all a community here - and as we have
differences of opinion - we have to talk about and work on them. Nothing
is going to be perfect -
I think that a lot of members want nothing to do with the politics of
the station - they just want the good content like ( music, talk shows,
etc, etc, etc to not leave any genera out that KZYX provides).
A lot of people that are members just want it to keep going, so as many
may not want to be directly involved ( but they pledge )in a lot of the
going on's - there are some that do. They need it. And that is a good
thing for them - but please just keep talking and working things out -
I also heard that there will be a 7second delay box or whatever - cool
it if keeps or allows the removal of swear words off the air - I think
that can be a a big fine with FCC or big brother or whatever, and man if
the station is just now getting solvent - lets not blow it. (But dont
hold back either heheheh)
There is always the danger of the abuse of a machine like this - but
around here that should be pretty much not allowed to happen. ( or at
least I would hope that is the case)
So keep on going KZYX team / members - many of the people out there do
want it to do well, and maybe some should have more of a venue to have
their say? What about a time slot or something that gets voted on by
the members - like rotating shows, and the most popular ones get on that
week / month voted on by the members? I dont know - just throwing out
ideas there....
What ideas do you have to throw out there kzyxtalk peolple?
:)

The best news at the KZYX board meeting was the price of the soon to be installed 7-second censoring machine. Only $1000. Cheap. That's just 20 regular memberships.
Think of the power this gives our volunteer programmers. Once trained they will be able to edit out bad words and bad people.
Thanks management. You know how we members hate bad words and bad people.
