[Kzyxtalk] Don't miss DemcracyNow!

July 3 2014: What a great program from Sweden, a convention of a different kind, the kind we need in Mendocino County. A brilliant woman from the Swedish "Feminist Initiative" and I mean brilliant, and our own Dennis Kucinich speaks about what democracy could be and will become.
Compare this with what passes for democracy at all levels in our lives, at what passes for democracy in our "community" organizations...at KZYX...at our city council meetings...
CAB Meeting - EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
1) Not poetry. It could be you know. We expect so little from our meetings. But Stuart doesn't mind boring us to death.
2) Bad social science. After listening to comments about documents we cannot see, it is so exciting to have three minutes to comment and then shut up. How original; how humble of you.
3) Fake dialog. Rather than embrace the in-depth discussion, the real dialog that have taken place over the last four months on KZYXtalk, the CAB chooses to ignore it. And with the best of intentions it has created a disrespectful semblance of dialog.
4) Does ANYBODY have an idea of how we can have some fun in the midst of this confusion?

And it is even more obvious that the official persons and our own elected board and the members of the CAB have so far as I know completely ignore this list. Stuart Campbell told me he is "too busy" to participate.
