[Kzyxtalk] Problems at our station

And how would you suggest we deal with it at home, Norman?
For months, Doug, Sheila, and King have been urging a low or
no-cost means for members of the station to communicate with each
other. Peter suggested one in which no member's privacy rights would
inadvertently  be violated.
The discussion listserv has been abandoned by most of the original
participants, whom fled to the announcelist. Now, a MCN moderator has
apparently closed off the radio discussion on the announcelist (I
wonder if they have done the same with discussion re College of the
Redwoods). And, unfortunately, kzyxtalk was made unneccessarlly
confusing to join.
In any event,  they are all coast listservs which leaves out all
other portions of the county.
I suggest this has become an important political issue in this
county, one that needs a public airing on the County public radio
station and that you should call Coate and Aigner (and I include
Coate because he has reinterpreted his job as allowing him to be the
arbitrator of content)  and tell them you are prepared to do one of
your special broadcasts to address it.
Please let us know how that goes. --beth

Let's keep the discussion open and local. Before we turn to
big government to resolve any differences let's deal with it
 at home
