Mr. Lambert: 




My questions are the following: Did GM John Coate recruit you to run against Doug McKenty? Did you ever speak with Coate about the election? Did Coate ever indicate he would endorse you or otherwise support you, if you ran against McKenty? Did any other member of the KZYX Board of Directors either recruit you to run and/or indicate they would support you? If so, were those Board members acting on behalf of Coate? 




Why are these questions important? They're important, because the GM is hired by the Board and serves at the pleasure of the Board. Furthermore, the GM has his/her job performance evaluated by the Board and can be fired by the Board. Therefore, to meddle in the nominations and/or elections process is to corrupt the integrity of the Board. It's like trying to hire your own boss. And, it's u nacceptable. 




Meddling in Board elections is much like the station's signal being down for three days last week -- absolutely unacceptable.
