Hello Ali and Dedicated Members of CRNMC,

In the spirit of lightening your load and building a more cohesive group
of community members, many of whom may also be stretched a bit thin, I
would like to share the attached toolkit that was developed by the
Oakland Climate Action Coalition through the Ella Baker Center for Human
Rights.

The people of this coalition worked long and hard, enduring the arduous
process of:

 > gathering input from the people,
 > organizing the information,
 > editing drafts of the city's Climate Action Plan,
 > attending city council and other pertinent meetings,
 > demonstrating when necessary,
 > issuing press releases,

and much more, in order to "/pass the boldest and most equitable Energy
and Climate Action Plan in the country with unprecedented community
participation./" Enormous efforts went into developing the toolkit as
well. They did so "/to provide building blocks for other cities to
develop solutions-based climate plans that put people and the planet
first/."

Namaste,

Tammy
