Subject: Midterm Elections, Vote "No" On Prop1 & Fracked Up News!
To: storyteller2069 at yahoo.com
10/20/14, was the last day to register to vote in California. What does
banning fracking have to do with voting in our midterm elections? Well,
there are some important related propositions on ballots. Plus, voting this
November will ensure that you can vote in our primary elections too. We
must use voter power to inch closer to protecting our clean water rights.
NY state just allowed small townships to Ban Fracking. We can certainly do
the same here in California. Especially, in light of recent tragic
contamination of our aquifers in the Central Valley. I have posted links
below.
Most important in this midterm election is voting "No" on Prop 1, which was
conveniently left off the current voter information guide. Basically, it
ensures "sweetheart water deals" for corporations. This means corporations
would get special breaks on large consumption of water. During a current
mega drought in California, people's access to clean water -needs to be a
priority. Corporations should not get special interest deals on water.
Please pay attention people. This is all tied into fracking. Little is
mentioned anywhere about these corporate water grabs. Also, it would suck
water away from wildlife that may never recover in the Sacramento and the
San Joaquin Rivers. Ultimately, the proposed water bond provides no
guarantees, is risky, and is a potential waste of money too. Learn more

*So please vote "NO" on Prop 1.*
Also in November, San Benito, Santa Barbara and Mendocino counties will
have a chance to vote to Ban Fracking. So, you petitioners who live
there...please go vote on these measures. :

*More news to come.*
Including updates on the fracked up aquifers in the CA Central Valley!
Infuriating! Where does this water go? Is it your drinking source? Are
farmers forced to use it on our produce?

Let the water board know how you feel about fracking companies polluting CA
Central Valley aquifers! Total insanity! Please Governor Brown! Ban
Fracking now!

water for Pete's sake! :
