Measure S was made to protect you!
Grapes are sacks of water, you know it’s true
But if you allow Fracking, their poisons will get to YOU…

They want to Frack in the Mendocino
and on the BLM lands, too
At the Headwaters of the Eel River
Far away and out of view . . .

Redwood Valley, Potter Valley!
Think this through . ..
Waters of the Eel flow through tunnels down to you!
If they poison our water, they poison your water, too.
—whoops! there go... all your profits, too

Hey! Ukiah!
Better think this through . . .
Measure S is on the ballot to protect you!
Poisons in the wine mean the industry’s through
—whoops! There goes all of the County’s revenue . . .

The Corporate raiders want our gas fields
…and they think they’ve got it made
Frack gas from the Mendocino,
and ship it out across the bay . . .

It won’t heat our homes and schools, though
That’s not the way their plans are laid . . .
The Japanese will pay top dollar
That’s the way their money is made . . .

Destroy our water, grab the gas,  then they’re through

You know there is something we can do though . . .
