[CRNMC] URGENT! VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR JEFF CLEMENTS EVENT SUNDAY IN WILLITS

Hello Supporters of Measure S,

The Jeff Clements fundraising
extravaganza on Sunday at the Willits Grange needs volunteers to commit to
doing these jobs:  

2 Security staff
3 greeters at
the door
2 auction monitors
3 at the cash-out table starting at
8:30pm
1 to help Beth refresh the hors d'oeuvres plates
2
at the bar
13 people needed

Security staff.  One for
inside the event, and one to monitor the halls.  There is to be no
drinking or smoking in the halls of the Grange.  Security staff are
required for an ABC license.  

Greeters: 
#1 will
take the $10 preferred donation and stamp the person's hand.  
#2 will record their name in the bidder log, and assign them a bidder
number
#3 will write the bidder number on the auction catalog and
hand it to the person, then try to sell them raffle tickets.  

Auction monitors have 3 phases:
1) hover over the auction
tables to keep an eye on things.  
2) when the auction is over,
they will collect all the bid sheets in numerical order.  
3) At
9pm when people have paid, the auction monitor will assist people with
receipts to get their winnings from the auction tables.  
It may
require an early shift and a later shift.  

Cash-out
staff: 
At 8:30pm, will help to collate all the winning bidders and
then write receipts in advance.  
At 9pm, 2 will take money and
issue receipts, and one will distribute the gift certificates and take
credit card payments with our PayPal card reader.  (probably me)
