Brothers and sisters!! Well Done!!! San Benito County passed theirs as
well. Unfortunately, Santa Barbara failed to pass a  fracking ban. I
understand that the oil industry spent $7 million there to defeat it.

 That made me very sad. I lived in Santa Barbara for 24 years and was there
1n 1969 when the big oil spill happened. Memories are short, apparently,
there.

It makes me all the happier that We've found a home in Mendocino County
where people care about where they live and about each other. I'm so
impressed with this community and grateful to be here. Thank you to all the
activists around here!!!
