OK, so maybe you haven't wondered what the social media node been up to.
Just in case you did wonder, here are some of the things.
We have our own list server now (that doesn't cost $11 something
a month per list) so we can have multiple lists.
Currently we have one for people interested in media related aspects
of CRNMC. For those that want to be a part of that list, go to
http://lists.crnmc.org/mailman/listinfo/crnmc-media
There is also a list for the people coordinating signature gathering.
E-mail Carrie Durkee <cdurkee at mcn.org> if you are heading up signature
gathering in some area and she doesn't know about it.
We now have to the option to have a separate announce list that
wouldn't have all the discussion. That would help the people that
get overwhelmed from time to time by the volume of e-mail on this list.
In a separate thread, we should figure out how we go about selecting
who should be able to post to an announce list and what kinds of
things should be posted.
Another option is move the discussions to a discussion forum.
Ours is at http://forum.crnmc.org/
You all have accounts on the forum. Just call me for your password.
Now the web site. Or should I say web sites.
We thought Peter was going to put together some content for our web site.
On May 6, Peter e-mailed the process team saying he was resigning
from the process team (He had self selected in on Apr 25) and also
said he was not going to do the web site. With no one else stepping up,
I started building one. At last Thursday's CROW meeting I mentioned
it was almost ready and Beth B. and Peter offered to send me content. Cool.
Beth B. delivered lots of fracking stuff. The site went live Saturday.

The crnmc-media list was notified Saturday afternoon. Hearing positive
comments and no objections, it is being announced to this list.
It doesn't have lots of pretty pictures, but considering how much of
Mendocino in on dial-up, that may be a good thing.
Now remember I said web sites? Well, at Sunday's Willits Town Hall
meeting, Peter announced http://www.crnofmc.org/
So we went from 0 to 2 web sites.
If you have interest in adding content to http://www.crnmc.org/
call me for your password and instructions.
Comments? Concerns? Celebrations?
