I had a similar reaction. Then I asked myself why I wanted to know.
In my case it was thinking I knew who it was but not knowing.
Then I decided it didn't really matter to me.

Then in a conversation with Beth, I flashed on the the idea that
this could be in interesting experiment.
If we do not know who was behind the idea presented, we would have to
examine it on it's merits alone rather than unconsciously giving it
more or less credibility depending on who it was from.
