[CRNMC] Grassroots Democracy

Occupy Mendocino is organizing grassroots groups to march together in this year's parade under the banner of 'Grassroots Democracy.’

Those who support or are involved in economic, environmental, political & social justice issues as well as those who wish to participate in this special event are invited to march with any of the following groups or add your own:
Occupy Mendocino
Move to Amend 
Ocean Protection Coalition
Community Rights Network of Mendocino County         
Progressive political parties--Greens, Dems, Peace & Freedom, etc.
  
The words Communication, Collaboration, Compassion & Connection will be held separate banners (in green) as the basic foundation for all networking operations.
  
A group of Brazilian samba drummers (Batucada) has agreed to march with us.
  
Banners & signs with individual messages are welcome. We will have the signs and banners; we need the marchers to carry them.

Please respond if you are planning to join us or have ideas to help make this a true grassroots presentation.

Occupy Mendocino will discuss plans at its regular Saturday meeting: 6/21 at 2 p.m. at the Redwood Senior Center on Harold St. or contact 937-1372 for more information.
