[CRNMC] petitions are due....

June 26th!!

Kelly went to the county office to ask about the Initiative guide, which says petitions are due 148 days before the election. It also said, some of these dates are mandated by law and some are recommendations. And of course, they don't tell you which is which. 

Katrina said it was only a recommendation and that the real deadline is 30 days (excluding weekends and holidays) before the "drop dead date" of august 8th. That takes us to June 26th. 

Willits has a ways to catch up, as nobody has taken responsibility for organizing the signature gathering here. We have committed to getting at least 2000, so we better get busy!

If we can gather 6000 before the due date, we may turn them in early.
