The DEP for the State of Florida had recently revoked the oil drilling
permits for the Dan A. Hughes  Co. and is also filing a lawsuit seeking
more than $100,000 in fines against the company. This would mean the Dan A.
Hugh’s Company loses all authority to operate in the State of Florida. For

As encouraging as this news is, the fight isn’t over yet. Florida needs
tougher state laws, regulations and oversight regarding oil drilling. It is
also felt by many that oil exploration and extraction are not  compatible
activities to ever be allowed in habitat critically important to the
survival of the Florida panther! We need to keep fighting.

voice for the protection of Florida panthers and their habitat! Thanks also
