Thanks for bringing our attention again to the idea of additional lists.

As it turns out, the social media team needs to migrate the main
list off of mcn.org on to the crnmc server anyway for technical reasons.
So this is an opportunity for us to brainstorm what lists we should have.
Obviously not everyone will want to be on all the lists and maybe
those that get overwhelmed with e-mail can find one that suits them.

Perhaps something like this:

crnmc-ordinance
A list narrowly focused on getting the ordinance passed in November.

crnmc-discuss
A list to brainstorm, discuss, colaberate on the larger picture
of Community Rights. Decolonizing our minds, how should small
groups of sovereign individuals in an area organize and govern
themselves, and how should they network with other groups, how
do we want to organize ourselves for what comes after the November
ordinance, what do we want to do after this ordinance?

crnmc-announce
A list to announce meetings/events related to CRNMC
Low volume, Announce only (no discussion, no replies).

Or should we be looking at other options like a discussion forum?
For those of you that have not encountered discussion forums before,
let me see if I can explain them. Unlike a listserver where the
e-mail comes to your inbox without you doing anything, a discussion forum
is web based and you have to go to the forum web site and log in before
you can post replies to what others have said there. And there are as
many or as few forum topics as we want.

Other perspectives?
