I am wondering who the "we" is?

Thanks for your opinion Caitlin. A good starting point for a listserve
use recommendation.

I think there are a few subjects missing. After all, CRNMC stands for
Community Rights Network of Mendocino County. So I would think that the
Community Rights part and the Network part would be big part of what is on
this list.

Personally I don't much care about fracking news unless it's another
community rights based ordinance but I understand that since our ordinance
deals with fracking that others may be interested in fracking news. What
interests me more is the Community and Network parts of our Community
Rights Network.

Now I'm basing my opinions on the assumption that Albert Einstein was right when he
said something along the lines of you can't fix a problem with the same
thinking that created the problem. So I strongly suspect that most
important part of our Community Rights Network is to examine the colonized
thinking that got us into this mess where we need a community rights
ordinance and changing our thinking. And more importantly, modeling how we
want the world to be within our organization. I'm reasonably certain
that our society's default hierarchal/dominator/power consolidating model
will not get us out of this mess. And therefore we would be wise to be
diligent in not letting our organization slip into those default models.

Looking back at the meting in Fort Bragg where our name was selected, I
marvel at the wisdom of the group. Our name really points the way for us.
There is the Community part which implies that it is a collaborative
endeavor, the Rights part that speaks to our fundamental unalienable right
to govern ourselves, and the Network part that implies a number of
autonomous and interdependent/interconnected communities. So I would
think that subjects around how we take back our personal power, how
we collaborate as autonomous individuals, and how the various
collaborative groups network would be worthy of this list.

It seems likely that others will point out important subjects that I
have not thought of.
