Thanks, Meg, for sending the Ukiah Daily Journal article on the success of our petition effort. Thanks to you, to Shannon, and to Karina for articulating so clearly what we are doing with the petition and the initiative. I am attaching the article as a PDF document. MStJ.

Thanks for all,
Carrie
Dear Folks,
I sent this front page article in the UDJ to friends to show what we had been working on and our recent achievement - as in 6300 signatures! I immediately got back offers to help, to which I replied that we need $$ and that worked. I think this gives us a lot of credibility - and a great explanation of what it is we've been trying to do.
If each of us chip in a little to this campaign and send this article around to friends and family (with an ask) we can get our fundraising going in a simple and direct way.
Meg

Carrie,
Do we have a conflict here: I thought Move to Amend had a meeting in
Boonville 12-2 on July 13 and Robin scheduled the Charter/Public Banking
meeting at the Dragon House from 2-4pm. That's where I and4-6 others will
be-in Boonville.
