The defeatists tried to tell us that it would never happen.

But now, because we would not listen to the defeatists, and because
we kept speaking out, SB1272, the Overturn Citizens United Act has
now passed the full CA State Assembly, just as it passed the full CA
Senate. All that remains is a perfunctory procedural conference and
then it's on to the desk of Governor Jerry Brown for signature.

Please pick up the phone now and call Governor Brown's office and ask
him to sign SB1272 the instant it hits his desk. Here's the number

an aide

We need your voice more than ever just one more time to make sure
Governor Brown knows the vast and deep support there is for amending
the Constitution to repudiate the corrupt Citizens United decision.
