[CRNMC] CRNMC to sponsor the March for Real Climate? (fwd)

It looks like 350.org is organizing a March for Real Climate
Leadership on February 7th. (See Shannon's e-mail below.)
And Ash Lauth from the Center for Biological Diversity is trying
to organize the busses. (See her e-mail below Shannon's)

As Shannon says below, "Hoping CRNMC - as the leading group that banned
fracking locally - would be willing to stand for communities across the
state and become partners at whatever level is comfortable for the group."

Is there anyone that wants to coordinate the Mendocino County part of this?

If so, please speak up and contact Shannon and Ash.

Thanks.

Tim.

>> I’m happily back from Peru. It was such an tremendous experience, I’m still processing it all, plus there is so much going on with starting up Movement Rights - also exciting.
>>
>> But today I’m writing with yet another hat on. I’ve got a 350.org hat on today, helping them with outreach and to bring in partners to sign on for the upcoming March for Real Climate Leadership on February 7th. Hoping CRNMC - as the leading group that banned fracking locally - would be willing to stand for communities across the state and become partners at whatever level is comfortable for the group.
>>
>> As you know, over the last year, the movement to ban fracking in California has gotten stronger -- in March, 5,000 people rallied outside of his office in Sacramento, and just a few weeks ago two counties voted to ban it entirely. (as if you didn’t know!!!) And now, with New York banning fracking this week, the time has never been better to bring the message to Governor Brown’s own backyard. So on February 7th, Californians from across the state are gathering in Oakland, where Brown once served as mayor, to say that to protect our water, health and climate we need real climate leadership -- and we need it now.
