Dear Carrie,

I have a call into Norman to find out more about the Local Government Commission.

From an earlier conversation he let me know that it is a progressive organization working with local governments...he asked me if any of our supervisors were members.

Will let you and everyone else know more when I find out more. Interesting that their website did not have more information.

As far as the BOS and Measure "S" becoming law...and this is where my knowledge deeply lags....Norman mentioned that it needed to be codified before it can be enforced.

Something I have forgotten from Civics class.

Can anyone else shed more informed light on this matter ?

Does anyone know when the BOS are meeting to move Measure "S" forward into law ?

Sending all the best to all of you,

Baile
