Dear Baile et al,

I agree with the idea of a list serve for those interested in helping to
educate the public about a County Charter in the six months we have before
it has to be submitted for the 2015 ballot. S.F. City and County are
Chartered and are now close to adding a public bank.When they do many
other Chartered Counties will follow suit.We took advice of the S.F.
Attorney that a charter would facilitate establishing a public bank.
     Ellen Rosser and Robin Sunbeam worked diligently over a year to make
our county charter meet the CA Constitutional requirements for a
Charter They took parts from other established County Charters in CA,
of which there are 14. Why reinvent the wheel?

The Wall Street Banks have $2 Quadrillion derivative(bets) on their books
and we are facing another economic crisis much bigger than in 2008.
Derivatives have super priority in case of banks going bankrupt according
to the Bankruptcy Reform Act of 2005. They will be paid off first, there's
not enough money in the FDIC to cover a bail-in when depositors savings
will be used to recapitalize the failed banks. We need to get our county
money in a public bank and your savings out of the big banks before the
derivatives bust.

Baile,your last statement I resonate with. Let's make the Charter the
focus of CRN. This is a comunity Rights issue. PB would keep our money
local. The Transpacific Partnership (TTP)trade agreement would make local
money illegal. Obama and Congress needs to hear from all of us -Stop the
TTP.
