Yes, dear Tim, in a way it is just semantics.
Local self governance...community rights... can cover many, many issues.
For myself, I am drawn to focus upon what I sense is the core of Measure "S" :
Sovereignty of the Rights of Nature....the life sustaining systems of Earth.
As in how do we help to morph our cultural laws into a system of law that supports this basic Truth.
We all know that our time to create real change is incredibly short to the point that a true pragmatist would just say...the flywheel has taken off and we might as well go fishing.
For those involved with the CRNMC, we are saying that we might as well do what we can to affect more real lasting alignment with Nature.
