The Point People for Measure S representing
the various teams have been meeting every Thursday evening at 7:15 pm to
coordinate all the various pieces of the campaign. They haven't met
since the election.

Now that the election is over, we no
longer have an election campaign but we still have the Community Rights
Network. The CRNMC has a treasurer, a bank account, a bank balance and
debts to pay.

We have also have the $50 annual fee to the
Secretary of State to keep the bank account open due by January 15

The Treasurer no longer has Point People to confer with, and so I
am reaching out to you all.
So far, everyone I asked agrees that we
should keep the bank account open and pay the annual fee. They say we
might need to pay a lawyer, and we might need to raise and spend money on
the next campaign in the future. What do you think?  Should we keep
the account open and pay the $50 annual fee?  Or should we close the
account before January 1?

Next issue:
I am
reluctant to release funds until the group agrees on it.  The bank
balance is about $954.

• We owe Jamie Lee
$321.  He came to the rescue for the Road Show and printed up
literature and posters, as well as ordering 50 yard signs.  I am
ready to pay him.  Any objections?

• We owe Carrie
$132 for lawn sign WIRES plus about $80 for thank you notes.  These
were all preapproved.  I am ready to pay her.  Any
objections?

• Beth B. ran the whole Laytonville Road Show
single handed and brought in over $1600.  Now she would like to be
reimbursed for her out of pocket expenses of $228.12 none of which were
pre-approved, but all of which were essential to the Measure S
campaign.  These included those first laminated signs we used of a
pond of rippling water, and all the yard signs in Laytonville.  I
want to reimburse her totally.  Any objections?

I
also prepared an agenda for the next Point Person meeting which got
postponed indefinitely since there are no longer point people except for
the Treasurer.  Does anyone want to meet in a telephone conference on
Thursday?  Any other day?

In Peace, Robin
