[CRNMC] Where are we headed

As for lawyers, it depends on where a challenge is filed- state or federal court. CELDF can represent you in federal court, if state court we will need a CAlawyer to work with CELDF. I have some in mind but as Ive said who is dependent on when, because they have to be available. Those lawyers in my connections will not be free likely but low cost as they believe in this work. Funding for that can come from a few places, including working with Californians against Fracking to raise those funds. Also, you may chose or know of another lawyer. I think it also depends on WHAT the challenge looks like, what is the basis, etc.

We will be happy to assist with that, but in the meantime your wanting to build education in the ground there is wonderful and super critical and forward thinking.

I will be in Peru for the next week and hard to reach.

Please also note my new email address! As you may know I have started my own organization with some partners I've long worked with. We launch this week!

Essentially it is a continuation of what I've been doing in California and globally with the Rights Of nature. Please see our developing website: www.movementrights.org

Best to all,

Shannon
