[CRNMC] Paul Bunyan parade, Monday, Sept. 1

Greetings, all,

We, in Occupy Mendocino, are organizing grassroots groups to march together in this year's parade under the banner of 'Grassroots Democracy.’

All of you who support or are involved in economic, environmental, political, & social justice issues, as well as those who wish to participate in this special event, are invited to march with any of the following groups:
 
Community Rights Network of Mendocino County with “Yes on S” signs        
Occupy Mendocino
Move to Amend 
Ocean Protection Coalition
Transition Towns
Left-leaning political parties--Greens, Dems, Peace & Freedom, etc.
  
We’re hoping the group of Brazilian samba drummers (Batucada) will again agree to march with us. Their energy and great music made marching a delight.
       
We will have the signs and banners; we need the marchers to carry them. Banners & signs with individual messages are welcome.

Entries must relate in some way to the theme: Paul and Babe Celebrate 75 Years
One of our signs will say Paul and Babe Celebrate Grassroots Democracy
