[CRNMC] Shannon Biggs speaking tour?

I am in conversation with Shannon and her friend David Braun, a fracking expert, to do a speaking/educational tour of Mendocino with 3 or 4 events in one weekend. David has suggested the weekend of June 5th thru 8th. 

Because Anderson Valley has yet to show up for this endeavor, Shannon and I would like one of the events to happen there. Does anyone on the coast want to take responsibility for an event in Mendocino or Ft. Bragg (maybe the Ft. Bragg grange would host it for free)?  Sandy Marshall is investigating whether the Ukiah Methodist Church would be willing to host an event.  If not in Ukiah, then Willits (or maybe both), as Willits (CROW) will be paying Shannon's expenses to come here and our Grange is giving us the hall free for CRN events. Once the date is firmed up, I will let you know.

I agree with Carrie that each community should be responsible for producing (finding a space, advertising, etc) their own events, with assistance and coordination from the CRNMC outreach committee, which doesn't have the manpower to produce all the events throughout the county.

Will keep you posted and bring Ali and her committee into the loop.
