Beth: I don't have time right now to compose the words, but I love the hand on water image and agree that it is a fitting image for our initiative. MStJ.

 Dear
everyone.  We live in a society full of images.  From
television, you tube, movies and back to the old Life
Magazines, we have been tailored to "read"/absorb
images rather than bother with reading the print.  We
literally feel and react to the image's message on an
almost primal level.  (Case in point: little girl running
with napalm fire on her back.) That is why i think the image
 is so important.

If i get the right verbage, i am ready to have the hand on
water printed at Staples as well as a few posters.  All i
have so far is the tagline Shannon suggested: PROTECTING OUR
WATER IS UP TO US. What more is needed?
Contact info.  Synopsis.  Election date?  Initiative #?

Staples can do this very fast and at least
we'd have an immediate flyer until someone else creates
 a better one.  Respond please.
Power to our water, Beth B

PS. In case anyone wonders about the power of image, i
will send a separate email to anyone  who wants to test
that theory.  Warning: don't ask me for that email of
photos if you are afraid of your emotional reactions to
 images.

 "The
trouble is that once you see it, you can't unsee it.
 And once you've
seen it, keeping quiet, saying nothing, becomes as political
 an act as
speaking out. There's no innocence. Either way,
 you're accountable.”
