I thought it might be nice to share a response from a sweet friend of mine in New Mexico (Mora County is her favorite place to visit for renewal)

She is deep into community service through teaching and practicing permaculture in schools and through community food forests.

I shared with her the heart felt work with which we are all involved and generally said there were some hardships with community relations.

here is her response: can i get an Amen ?

"... it's all happening' here in my food forest project too...  just shining my light, keeping things open and straight forward, honoring and focusing on the best in others, appreciating the wonderful group effort, allowing for surprising things to happen, breathing through times when they don't, comforting myself when I receive difficult communications, or when I don't live up to my own expectations, giving myself the time to process all that and the courage to keep on keeping on with the goal in mind!   not always easy :o) - but it's all a gift. "

can i get an Amen ?
