I will be writing a letter regarding Jackson State Forrest. An Assembly member wants to redefine the managing of Jackson State.  It has been managed well for more than 70 years. I’m not sure change will be good for all of us.  This will affect the community—no more logging as it has been.  It was set up to be sustainable. The money from timber sales are used for maintenance of the forests and roads.  Instead of timber sales, it will be paid for by tax payers from the State budget.  Read below to see what the bill involves.
