Hosted by the Mendocino County Poet Laureate committee, admission is free and the community is invited to experience the poetry, and all poets are invited to read their poems. </span><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif;font-size:medium">This year is the 51</span><sup style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">st</sup><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif;font-size:medium"> anniversary of the Celebration, and the one time all year when poets from the whole county gather together to celebrate their art and community.</span></div><br><div dir="ltr"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif;font-size:medium">There’ll be two sessions of poetry. Doors will open at 12:00 noon for signups and community fellowship, and the first reading will start at 1:00 pm. </span> <span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif;font-size:medium"> There will be an afternoon break, and at 5:00 </span><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif;font-size:medium">pm signups will begin for the 6 pm evening session. Poets should prepare up to four minutes of poetry per session. </span> <span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif;font-size:medium">You can attend one session or both.
