So enjoy these comments on Allen Watts...I was honored to be on the Bill
long ago where he spoke along with a great variety of fellow spiritual
leaders..It was called THE MEETING OF THE WAYS..SanFrancisco..I forget
where it was held, and I haven't a clue as to why I was asked..<br><br>
Anyway, when it was his turn, he came out alone to the sound of conches
being blown and sat himself down on the floor and told us all to simply
sing our song...No one had the slightest idea how to respond...Slowly,
from one corner of the place to another we all tried...<br>
As for himself, he simply scatted joyously with something only he
knew..<br>
.After some time, everyones confidence grew a bit, and got a bit
louder...no one was singing the same thing mind you...He got up and
said something like "See..That's all it takes to find perfect
harmony, don't you agree?" <br>
He must have said more then that , but I was too amazed at what had
just happened that I don't remember..I do believe he might have been a
bit tipsy...<br>
I have found his cassettes tapes that surfaced later of his
talks on his Ferryboat so meaningful thru the years from time to
time..and I still look him up once in a while on youtube where he has
left a wealth of Himself that always leaves one with something meaningful
to ponder<br><br>
