The AMEX Timber Harvest Plan (THP) is in its final stages of approval. I have spent the night at Camp 8, with a mountain lion screeching in the night and a bear padding through the dawn, heard Pileated Woodpeckers pounding hollow snags, and even had an encounter with a Northern Spotted Owl in 2021.
