Some of them are very Long cycles of destruction and rebirth.... We are getting to witness some part of that cycle for sure. Maybe we get to experience an apocalyptic moment... wouldn't THAT be interesting!! </div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">I just dropped off a bunch of donations to a caravan that is heading into Lahaina where the situation is bad and worsening as the days go on. People have been trapped without food, water or services. All the exits have been closed. Eden, Devi's daughter, lost her home and all belongings the other night in Lahiana. Many, many people have been displaced.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Coupled with that is all the intense, immediate trauma that is also opening doors to old, unexpressed traumas. Some people and situations are simply falling apart in that way that nature will do when faced with seemingly overwhelming obstacles.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Sitting down and taking a few breaths, then opening my eyes wide and taking in my surroundings, saying to myself (this is what I coach people in), "This is a safe place now. I am safe here and now."</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Letting the nervous system slow down and take stock of the here and now. </div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">I am finding that I have to lean even deeper into the reserves of calm and understanding and groundedness that exist within...and always have. I generally don't get very excited in disastrous situations. My tendency is to slow down even further to assess and discern where and when and how to act.....and I can get pulled into the collective and immediate frenzy when I'm not careful.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Today we are gathering resources for the family and others.....
