Her days at the CPMC Rehab Center at their Davies Campus at Castro & Duboce in San Francisco transformed her back toward the Judy we all know and love. She had intensive works sessions with an occupational, physical and speech therapists every weekday, often for six hours. They were wonderful, kind and empowering for her. She was quickly climbing stairs, dressing herself and eating a more normal diet. Beca and I were by her side and Shamli came up for three days to relieve me so that I could return to Caspar and help Crescent prepare our house for her return. By the end of her time at CPMC she cooked potatoes and eggs, showered and dressed herself and was swallowing like a champ, moving from “thick” water to regular water and from mush food to diced meat and vegetables. All of the time keeping track of, and holding close to her heart, Olive’s Crocheted Judy</div><div class="" style="text-align: start;"><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space: pre;">        </span>Now dozens of people have volunteered to look after her and deliver us meals for weeks ahead. Thank you all so much for your deep-hearted support for Judy in her time of need. It is wonderful to be home in such a welcoming and supportive community. </div><div class="" style="text-align: start;">Love to All</div><div class="" style="text-align: start;">Jim</div></div></body></html>
