She pulled me aside to share with me that her dad, Bill Lemos, is in hospice & in the remaining days of being in the physical plane. For those of you that know him, you can write notes on the west side of the Mendocino fire house that will be shared with him. He has been an incredible environmental steward, taught at MHS for years, helped to start the SONAR class all focused on local watersheds & ecosystems. He was also very actively involved in developing posters, educational tools, etc. with Marine Protected Areas along our coast. That, plus a whole lot more. He will be sorely missed by his family and community. I’ve lived here long enough to be present to some very valued & loved elders crossing over. I’m grateful to him for all that he’s done to impact protecting our local beauty, educate others & model how we keep this place wild & protected. In love & light, Sue

_______________________________________________
