Westwind tonight at sunset time~ and birds and birds and
more birds.</div>

of birds than I’ve ever seen at any one time at the ocean
at the headlands at sunset time. </div>

the furthest promontory of rock going out into the ocean
facing due west at sunset time ~ an amazing display of
color with long clouds stratified over the horizon
catching the last golden crimson lights diffused into the
clearest of blue skies ~ on either side of me a few
hundred yards to left and right are very large masses of
rock and earth where huge amounts of birds are gathered
and flying back and forth in front of and over me ~ and
going on beyond sight disappearing into mists and clouds
becoming flying specks ~ formations flying through the
clear sky and becoming all these black perfectly sharp
shaped winged silouettes.</div>

geese cormorants seagulls and other birds I can’t name
small and large ~ flying in all directions all at once at
times and many especially the pelicans coming quite close
to me ~ literally within 10 ft at times slowly gliding
past in wild wind ~</div>

the shore and rocks where I’m standing/sitting becomes a
flight path actually after a while and they come closer

walker out there ~ alone on the promontory beyond a couple
people visible near the parking lot by the cliff </div>

no-one else . . . I start chanting and drumming on
the rock with with my gloved hands softly keeping a rhythm
~ my foot pounding away into the loose rock accompanying
myself ~ it seems totally appropriate to join in somehow
~ it is just hey hey yah yah hey yah hey ~ feeling the
rhythm ~ feeling completely at One with all this.</div>

singing/chanting the birds start flying lower and closer
to me. I sing louder completely dissolving into the scene
~ they come closer this goes on for a long time maybe 45
min until it gets almost dark and I head for the car ~ </div>

stop a couple of times to hang out with it all and do a

stationary in the wind for a long time and stay in front
of me for several minutes as a rounded elongated shape not
able to make any headway through the wind.</div>

shape of birds that keeps changing but not going forward
at all ~ then little by little makes it way up the coast
heading north over cliffs and bluffs.</div>

are appearing as I get to the car ~ the wind has become
more gentle ~ there are no other cars. </div>

actually took those shots and sent them out on “The
Spirit Express” two days ago~. She was asking me why
it did not post for two days~. The answer is that large
files with pictures do not automatically post due to
their size and the spam safety issue on a “List Serve”
such as “thespiritexpress ~~~~ it is usually one day
later and sometimes two days later that I, as a
moderator for the site, receive a notification ~~~ I
then have to go into the controls and resubmit them with
approval ~~ this is about controlling SPAM~~~. This has
happened with many of Marc’s beautiful photos and also
Abe’s and others~. </font>
