I just wanted to<br class="">thank you.The media has been giving you a hard time which, in a way, is<br class="">understandable but at the same time, it wasn’t really your fault. Many<br class="">negative things have happened this year but with every downhill, there’s<br class="">an uphill. With every hit, there’s a recovery. Now, we’ve been hit quite a<br class="">lot but look where we are now! Some people might say, ‘Look where we are<br class="">now? I am severely depressed!’ Which makes total sense.But maybe I am one<br class="">of the lucky ones. Even though there have been times this year that have<br class="">been incredibly hard, every single challenge, every single storm that has<br class="">come my way, has never been able to get past me. All of these challenges<br class="">have made me so much stronger as a person. I found out who I truly was and<br class="">came from and I wouldn’t have been able to do that without you.Whenever a<br class="">teacher comes into my life and teaches me a lesson or two, I always thank<br class="">them. I thank them for teaching me what it means to be human. What it<br class="">means to be alive. I thank them for teaching me how to push through and<br class="">stand my ground. I thank them for giving me kindness and hope. But you<br class="">2020, you have made me the teacher for once. Now of course I have said<br class="">some pretty wise words in my day but this year I am different. My words<br class="">are different. They have this fire deep within them yet a welcomeness to<br class="">them.2020 you have changed my life around. Probably for the better. The<br class="">world has this fire about it (quite literally because of climate change).<br class="">The world is loud. The world is demanding for a better future for all. <br class="">Every year I think I am as wise as I can be. As insightful as the eye can<br class="">see. And of course, I do know I am in fact, wiser, stronger, and more<br class="">insightful but there’s a difference. I now know that every year I will be<br class="">more evolved.
