<div style="font-family:'Roboto', 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);">As you know, it has been quite the year. I just wanted to thank you.</span></div>
<div style="font-family:'Roboto', 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);">The media has been giving you a hard time which, in a way, is understandable but at the same time, it wasn’t really your fault. Many negative things have happened this year but with every downhill, there’s an uphill. With every hit, there’s a recovery. Now, we’ve been hit quite a lot but look where we are now! Some people might say, ‘Look where we are now? I am severely depressed!’ Which makes total sense.</span></div>
<div style="font-family:'Roboto', 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);">But maybe I am one of the lucky ones. Even though there have been times this year that have been incredibly hard, every single challenge, every single storm that has come my way, has never been able to get past me. All of these challenges have made me so much stronger as a person. I found out who I truly was and came from and I wouldn’t have been able to do that without you.</span></div>
<div style="font-family:'Roboto', 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);">Whenever a teacher comes into my life and teaches me a lesson or two, I always thank them. I thank them for teaching me what it means to be human. What it means to be alive. I thank them for teaching me how to push through and stand my ground. I thank them for giving me kindness and hope. But you 2020, you have made me the teacher for once. Now of course I have said some pretty wise words in my day but this year I am different. My words are different. They have this fire deep within them yet a welcomeness to them.</span></div>
<div style="font-family:'Roboto', 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);">2020 you have changed my life around. Probably for the better. The world has this fire about it (quite literally because of climate change). The world is loud. The world is demanding for a better future for all. </span></div>

And of course, I do know I am in fact, wiser, stronger, and more insightful but there’s a difference. I now know that every year I will be more <span style="text-decoration:underline;">evolved</span>. More brave.</span></div>
